I live in Evanston, where I'm an engineering professor at Northwestern University. I became passionate about student voting long ago. Youth-shaming about non-voting goes way back, and is totally solvable too, by the same method that works for everybody: one-to-one contact. (see my op-ed on WaPo's Answer Sheet) In this crisis of democratic governance in the US, I'm contributing wherever I can to increasing voter participation and information.

I am the Co-Coordinator of Indivisible Illinois and the Voters’ Rights and Protection Chair. I'm a Deputy Voter Registrar in Orland Park. I organized a local rally as part of a nationwide effort that helped secure $250 million in voter protection funding prior to the 2020 general election. I also developed and activated the Indivisible 2020 plan organizing in the critical swing states of Wisconsin and Michigan. I worked with grassroots in Wisconsin to register over 2000 voters prior to the 2020 general elections. In Illinois I created the Diversity and Inclusion group to register voters in the underserved communities of Chicago. I have a background in corporate marketing, management and software sales.

I ran for election this past April in Palatine and got 47% of the vote, a very narrow loss. Part of the reason I lost is that voter turnout for local elections is extremely low. So I became a Deputy Voter Registrar and am now working with my local GPAD organization to change that! In my day job, I work for a large food manufacturer; in the evenings I work part-time as a Mental Heath Professional doing remote telehealth with a social service agency in Chicago. Our clients are mostly people experiencing homelessness and substance abuse.

I live in Palatine. I'm in my last year at Syracuse University. I'm the founder of Ballot-Z, an initiative to provide voter information to Gen Z voters.

I am a member of the Indivisible Evanston Leadership Team and a Co-Leader of Truth Brigade Illinois. I am also a Supervisor on the Wisconsin Dems Voter Assistance Hotline and have registered voters in Wisconsin. I will now be a Deputy Voter Registrar in Illinois. Registering voters is critical and I am very supportive of all of our efforts across the state. I have a background in Corporate Law and Human Resources and a wonderful grandson Ethan, my favorite future voter!

I live in O'Fallon. I'm a volunteer organizer and activist with Indivisible MetroEast, a Deputy Voter Registrar and an election judge. I'm a medically retired disabled veteran. I served 27 years in the US Air Force / Active & Reserve. I'm a member of the St. Clair County League of Women Voters.

I've been a Democratic committeeperson since 2018 in Blackberry Township, in Geneva. I've been a Deputy Voter Registrar for 3 years and am passionate about helping people register who don't have access to the internet or for other reasons might otherwise not register. Last summer (during the pandemic) I registered 75-100 people from my front porch, and we flipped my precinct! We advertised it on Facebook.
